About

Exploring the emotional links between music, photos, videos, and poetry is like assembling a bouquet of different flowers from the same field - each element appeals to different senses, but together they create a rich and evocative whole. As a musician and visual artist, I'm fascinated by the ways in which different art forms intersect and interact.
For me, the key to unlocking the full potential of the arts is intermedial research. By combining different forms of expression and exploring their possibilities, we can gain a deeper understanding of the universal emotions that connect us all. As a professional musician, I am constantly seeking out new ways to transform written notes into sounds that can be felt as well as heard. But by incorporating visual elements into my work, I am able to tap into an endless source of inspiration that opens up even larger horizons of creativity.
My goal is to create a personal vocabulary of music and visual art that draws on a diverse range of instruments, photography, and video. By creatively combining various elements, such as the pentatonic music and visual cultures of the Silk Road, I can explore in a manner that feels original and innovative. Whether working on a live performance, a video installation, or a photography project, I am always seeking out the intermedial relationships that make each piece unique and meaningful. It is this constant, endless, interdisciplinary relationship between sound and vision that fascinates me, and motivates me to create my own bouquet of sounds and visuals.
